Load Wedding - Pakistani Movie review

Glad to say Pakistani movies have improved so much! This movie had a message without having to use a major villain character.
It was funny and addressed a major issue of dowry in Pakistan.
The concept of dowry in Pakistan has been abused at so many levels that it has taken this ugly shape where a daughter needs to be loaded with material things to be accepted by her in laws and husband.
No one wants a good, loving daughter in law or wife they just want all these material things which will determine her value in the family.

There are rare families that dont 'demand' dowry but they are an endangered species.

The purpose of dowry is so the bride can take along essential personal items in her life that will make her comfortable in her new home. These items are not for the in laws or the husband- these items are for her to have available so she can feel at home as soon as possible.

The movie was very entertaining and the TV game show host character Aashiq was especially funny.

Fear The Walking Dead

More like fear the bad acting... I mean seriously the reaction of the actors to the situation at hand is terrible...
Most frustrating : lack of communication between people. You just killed a zombie and you're not going to your teenage daughter...why? Esp while she's trying to run out side...bad direction ? Don't know who to blame. It's only been 3 episodes. .. keep you posted if it gets better.

Try revlon's matte top coat with the Sally Hansen's nail colors that are out now. 
Of course keep your eyes light if you're going to pull off that lipstick 😗. 
A nice smooth matte base/foundation is necessary unless you have perfectly clear skin.

True Detective Season 2

SPOILER ALERT: watched all of it. .. was disappointed. I mean with all the close up scenes of their faces... breathing heavily. ..grunting and at the end Frank - who was the most interesting of them by far- isn't shown enough and suddenly forgets basic survival instincts - "I'll put everything on the line but not this suit"
Of course, if they make another one I'll watch it...but if it fails to entertain me that will be the end of True Detective for me.

New year resolution

The last two years I've wanted to lose weight and turns out I just wasn't taking care of myself enough. Healed my thyroid and got rid of my tummy fat, with a healthier diet of course but nothing as drastic as I had begun before and nothing was happening. Now my mid year resolution ( because I don't need to wait for Jan 1st to be better) is being more organized. Let's see how long this one takes. ;)

Thor: the dark world

So seems like Anthony Hopkins has given up on acting. It was like he rolled out of bed into the make up chair and began reading the lines... in a mind numbing monotone. Chris Hemsworth on the other hand has improved his acting although you cant do much with a 'goody two shoes' character. The only character with a bit of versatility would be Loki, definately someone with a more 3 dimensional personality/character. Overall the movie seemed to be put togeather well, however Jane and Thor lacked chemistry. It's an ok watch if you don't have much to do. Hopefully next movie, Loki would have a love interest...that would be interesting.
